When Words Do Not Mean What They Should Mean.
The product names really to not tell us correctly of their functions. The best example is Dyson 17 Vacuum. For trading purposes it carries the label of an animal vacuum. But it is not used ever to clean a cat or dog, and used only to clean debris on the carpets. When our property was subjected to scrutiny, we came to know what names do not convey.
The resale property for instance from our property were never sold to anyone earlier, how can they be called by that name? Till we finalize a buyer who can take them away, these items would like their inviting dirt and debris, and it is then we may use the vacuum, using the cleaner to get the carpets in the house also remove the dirt.
For some years now we are having this property which is put for resale now. Our agents gone around the website, put up the details of these objects and everyone was exposed to those silly items lying in the corners of our house. Along with good old furniture, we had a wonderful looking Ibanez acoustic electric guitar, obviously a Russian make, which our forefathers had left behind for us to use, but we never used it.
Like the dc17 having a name which does not suggest the duty it does, with no mice or dogs around to handle, the Ibanez guitar, was also misnomer, since there was nothing Russian about it save for the word, Ibanez which had a Russian connotation. Similar is the case of acoustics in its name.
Guitar makes good or bad music, and music to hear will require proper acoustic in the areas where it is played. Since it has lied in a corner without being ever used, no one cares about its acoustics. It was already inviting suspicion.
We had put up Dyson dc17 vacuum also as a resale utility, cleaned it up a bit, and put up for sale. The dc17 refers to the current or power in which is used by this device. We thought of putting it to use once to clean up the house but on a rethinking, we felt should we dispose off the vacuum?
Also came the question should we sell away the Ibanez electric guitar, which in fact was a good remainder of our glorious past. Strangely we do not seem to evaluate the scrap; we try to dispose away, for in truth they are not scrap.
